FAQs
How often should I visit the dentist for a professional clean?
Most people are good with a visit every six months. It’s the best way to catch stubborn tartar that your toothbrush simply can’t move. If you have a history of gum issues, we might suggest popping in a bit more frequently to stay ahead of it.
What is the process for professional teeth whitening?
We apply a strong whitening gel and use a special light to activate it during a 60 to 90-minute session. Everyone’s teeth react differently, so your results depend on your natural enamel and how much coffee or tea you drink.
How long does All-on-4 treatment take?
Usually three to six months. While the initial healing only takes about a week, we have to wait a few months for the implant to actually fuse with your bone. It’s a bit of a wait, but it’s what makes the new tooth permanent and sturdy.
Are dental X-rays safe for children and adults?
Yes. Modern digital X-rays use incredibly low radiation levels much lower than the old film versions. We only take them when necessary to check for hidden issues, and we always use protective gear to keep you safe.
Do wisdom teeth always need to be removed?
Only if they’re causing trouble. If they’re stuck (impacted), hurting, or crowding your other teeth, they should come out. If they grow in straight and you can keep them clean, you’re welcome to keep them!
