The NDP offers low costs at every turn. The establishment fee is just $70 and there’s a monthly fee of $8.

How much can I borrow on a dental payment plan?

You can borrow up to $12,000 on the NDP’s zero-interest, super-easy plan. If you need more expensive dental work, please talk to the friendly team at Green Door who'll do everything they can to help.

How do I apply for a dental payment plan?

It only takes a few minutes to apply and it’s extremely simple. You just need to be: (1) Over 18 and an Australian citizen or permanent resident with a driver’s license; (2) Working 30+ hours a week (including through self-employment) or an Aged/Veteran pensioner; and (3) Able to provide bank account or credit card details for repayments. You can apply directly online here.

How can you prevent dental emergencies?

Some dental accidents and injuries are unavoidable. But other dental emergencies like toothaches and fillings can be effectively prevented by having regular check-ups with your dentist every six months. Regular dental check-ups allow your dentist to catch and treat any small issues, such as tooth decay or gum disease, before they turn into bigger and more costly dental emergencies down the track.

How much does an emergency dentist cost?

At Green Door Dental, your emergency dental appointment will cost $65 — the same as our standard consultation. But if you need more complex dental treatment (like tooth removal, a tooth filling or dental crown), additional fees will apply.

He is skilled and certified in teeth straightening with Invisalign and in providing CEREC same-day crowns.

Dr Smith graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1994, before joining the Royal Australian Air Force and serving for 11 years as a Dental Officer.

He completed a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics with Distinction from Kings College London in 2008, attaining the highest mark awarded.

He has a regular theatre list at Southern Highlands Private Hospital, where he provides treatment under General Anaesthesia for children and adults, including all forms of restorative and surgical treatment, such as removal of wisdom teeth.

He has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, full mouth makeovers, surgical treatment, and sleep apnoea and jaw pain. He maintains memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry; the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health; and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
