You won’t feel any discomfort, and, with liquid sedation and IV sedation, you won’t even remember your treatment at our Moss Vale or Gregory Hills dental clinic. No. You must not drive or operate heavy machinery for 24 hours after dental sedation. Sedation can cause dizziness and drowsiness that persist for the rest of the day. Arrange a responsible adult to drive you home from your appointment.
Yes. Dental sedation for anxious patients is one of its most common uses. It also suits those undergoing longer procedures or those with a strong gag reflex. Suitability is assessed individually, a pre-treatment consultation with your dentist is required before proceeding.
